How Invisible Text Encoding Works
Encoding Method
This tool represents each character using a fixed 16-bit binary value. Binary values are then represented with invisible Unicode characters.
- Binary 0 uses U+200B Zero Width Space.
- Binary 1 uses U+200C Zero Width Non-Joiner.
- Character separation uses U+200D Zero Width Joiner.
Decoding Method
During decoding, the tool identifies these zero-width characters, reconstructs their binary values, and converts those values back into readable characters.
Common Tips and Mistakes
- Always copy the complete invisible output. Removing even part of the hidden sequence can affect decoding.
- Some platforms may remove or modify zero-width Unicode characters when text is copied, edited or processed.
- Use the generated decoder link when you want a simpler way to open and reveal the original message.
- This technique is text hiding, not strong encryption. Do not use it as a replacement for secure encryption.
- Keep messages within the 5000 character input limit for reliable browser-side processing.
