01

Introduction

This policy explains what Note Vault Pro does — and does not — do with your information.

Note Vault Pro is developed and maintained by UD Tools ("we," "us"). This Privacy Policy applies to the Note Vault Pro Android application available on Google Play. By using the app, you agree to the practices described below.

02

Data We Collect

Short answer: none. We do not collect, store on servers, or share your personal data with anyone.

Note Vault Pro does not require an account, does not send your notes or business records anywhere, and has no server of its own to collect data on. There is nothing for us to sell or share, because we never receive it in the first place.

03

How Your Data Is Stored

Everything you enter is saved directly on your phone, inside the app's private local database.

  • Personal tab — your personal notes
  • Daily tab — daily entries and reminders
  • Business tab — products, bills, and customer records

This data lives in a local Room database on your device only. Uninstalling the app removes it (unless you've exported a backup separately).

04

Permissions We Use

Each permission is used only for the specific feature it supports — nothing runs in the background.

  • Camera — used only to scan product barcodes in the Business tab. No photos are taken or stored.
  • Notifications — used to show reminders and alerts you set inside the app.
  • Storage — used only when you choose to export or restore a backup file.
05

Backup & Export

Backups are saved as a file on your own phone — we never see or receive them.

When you use the backup feature, a file is created and downloaded locally to your device. The app will prompt you to optionally save or upload that file yourself (for example, to Google Drive) — this step is entirely your choice, and UD Tools has no access to that file at any point.

06

Ads & Analytics

Note Vault Pro currently has no ads and no analytics or crash-tracking tools.

We do not use Firebase Analytics, Crashlytics, or any third-party ad network in the current version of the app. If this changes in a future update, this policy will be updated first, and the change will be reflected in the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.

07

Data Security

Because your data never leaves your device, there's no server for anyone to breach.

We still recommend keeping your phone protected with a screen lock, since local data is only as safe as the device it's stored on. We continue to review and improve the app's data-handling practices with every update.

08

Children's Privacy

Note Vault Pro is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect data from anyone.

Since the app collects no personal data from any user, this applies equally to users of all ages.

09

Changes to This Policy

If anything changes — like adding ads in a future update — this page will be updated to reflect it.

We recommend checking back occasionally. Continued use of the app after a change means you accept the updated policy.

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers about your privacy on Note Vault Pro

Does Note Vault Pro collect my personal data?

No. Note Vault Pro does not collect, transmit, or sell any personal data. All information you enter stays on your device.

Is my data stored online or in the cloud?

No. Your notes, daily entries, and business records are stored locally on your phone only, unless you personally choose to upload a backup file somewhere yourself.

Does the app show ads?

Not currently. Note Vault Pro has no ads or analytics in this version. Any future change will be reflected in this policy.

Why does the app need camera access?
